Yolla

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

In short

Yolla does not collect your personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What the app stores

Your card and ID badge details, photos and send history are stored only on your device. This includes anything you enter for someone else, such as a colleague's badge. We have no servers and no access to them. Your device's own backups, such as iCloud, may include this data under your settings with that provider.

What we don't do

The app has no account or sign-in, and no analytics, advertising or tracking. We don't sell or share data because we don't receive any.

Permissions

The camera and photo library are used only when you add a photo to a card or ID badge. Photo library add access is used only when you save a card image. You can turn these off in your device settings.

Sending your card

Your card leaves your device only when you send it. It goes through the app you choose, such as Messages, WhatsApp or AirDrop, and that app's own privacy terms apply. For some channels, your message text is also copied to your device's clipboard, in case that app drops it.

Deleting your data

Deleting a card removes it, its photo and its send history from the app. Deleting an ID badge removes it and its photo. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.

This website

This website uses no cookies or analytics. Like most websites, its server may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and operation.

Children

Yolla isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect anyone's data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its date.
